But that is neither here nor there.
Or rather, it is exclusively here, and thus of no interest to anyone in a place that might be categorized as there. (meaning: anyone who is not me.)
Gee, my cat sure can make some god-awful noises.
In venturing into the basement a little while ago to fetch the neccesities for tomorrow's lunch (and thus setting off the cat-racket to which I just referred), I came across an open box in the middle of the floor. I do not know why it was there and open, but on looking inside it I saw many books, as well as my Etch-A-Sketch, on which someone (probably me) had at some point "drawn" the words "No Bucks, No Buck Rogers" and not erased it. Among the books in the box I found a very old copy of this book, a more recent printing of which I came across in Waldenbooks the other day and was pleased to remember. I also found this book, which relieved me greatly, as I had thought it was lost forever, as well as this book, which makes me happier than you can imagine. (Unless, more than likely, you are Erica.) Hooray for Reading Rainbow books!
My favorite reading rainbow episode was the one in which we got to go behind the scenes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. I was even geeky as tinyJoanna.
