Well, that was stupid. I'll try not to do that anymore. There's a reason that I've not been updating for the past few days. That reason is work. It's a good job, but moving from working maybe two days a week to working not at all to working 40 hours a week requires a serious adjustment. I'm not totally adjusted yet, but I'm getting there.
Unfortunately, this job does not lend itself to interesting journal-entry fodder. You know what does? A Midsummer Night's Dream! But you can get more in-depth information on that from my sister's journal, so I'll just content myself with saying that the show was very very very good. And that I thought that I saw one of my history professors leaving the theatre, but when I looked back, he was gone, so I may have imagined it. Um, and that they had little pastries after the show because it was opening night, and they were really good. And that Demetrius reminds me of Mark McKinney. And . . . yeah, I guess that's really it.
I'm glad that it is Saturday, but I really feel that I ought to be doing something a little more fun and a little more away-from-home to make up for sitting behind a desk all week. I wish I had a kayak. Or an amusement park. With water slides. I love water slides. Especially the ones that you ride down on an inner tube.
