The Arrival Of The Ants was really not necessary to herald the beginning of warm weather. We took good advantage of it (the weather, not the invasion) yesterday, heading down to Great Falls. We walked the Billy Goat trail (Part A) in slightly less than two hours, including a few breaks for things like hydration and appreciating nature. It was exactly how I wanted to spend the afternoon. After we finished the strenuous part, we admired the falls, saw a bunch of turtles in the canal, and waved at Virginia. We also stopped for barbeque on the way home, so that was a good day! I was basically useless for the evening, went to bed early and slept well.
The earlier part of the weekend was good, too. We had Brian and Simone over for board games on Friday night, and Saturday night had an ilyAIMY show at the Dogfish Head. So there was fun and beer. No bad at all.
