Someone I don't know sent me a chatroom invitation through Instant Messenger the other day. Because I didn't know the name, I figured it was an error and simply hit the "decline" button, to get the notification window off my screen. Just now, she sent me an IM that said "Why are you on my recent buddies list? I don't know who you are and I want you off my list." Wha?
I kinda wanted to explain to her exactly why her message made no sense, since I didn't hack into her account and add myself her list, nor did I attempt to contact her, nor should she want random people to be able to change her contacts. Intead, I just blocked her screen name. That should do it. Still, I'm really annoyed. More than this warrants, I'm sure. It's just . . . it was her fault. If she called a wrong number and it went to voicemail, would she leave a message complaining about it?
