I was in Cancun for a few hours today. Long enough to get some food and get a little bit sunburned from sitting by the pool. It was really windy and sand from the beach was blowing everywhere. You couldn't really tell as it was happening (except when it got in your eyes), but if you stayed in one spot for too long you were slowly covered with sand. It was a pretty amusing situation, if not for the fact that it involved being slowly covered with sand. Afterwards, I took a quick shower before heading back to the plane, but apparently did not think to rinse out my ears, because that's where I found sand later. Ew. Gritty ears. Aren't you glad I told you about that?
I like our Irish pilots. But I think you knew that already. It will be sad when they have gone back to Ireland and I see them no more.
I am a tired Joanna and must go to bed.
One more thing. That song, with "I love you baby, and if it's quite all right, I need you baby . . . " You know. That one. How in the world does it BEGIN? Stupid thing has been stuck in my head all day, but always from that same spot. Ok. Good night.
