"My, she was yar!"

I went to Blockbuster today, intending to rent "How to Steal a Million", starring Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole, if they had it. They didn't have it, which is kind of a shame, as I've been wanting to watch that movie. But it all turned out OK, as I found a copy of "The Philadelphia Story" on the Pre-Viewed Video sale rack, which is one of my favorite movies of all time, and which I've tried several times to record, always somehow cutting off the last 5 minutes. So now I own the movie. Complete. Funny thing is, I got the video home and took off the wrapper before I noticed that the box said "Colorized Version". This annoyed me until I put the tape in the VCR and the movie was in black-and-white. Very strange.

So that was part of my day. Also, I went out to lunch with Erica and baked banana bread and bought milk and played Super Mario Brothers. As well as some other stuff. Not necessarily in that order. While playing Mario, I made it all the way to world 8-3 without using any Warp Zones, but I was there defeated by the mighty wrath of the Hammer Brothers. I hate the Hammer Brothers.

This sentence should be centered and bold.

Hmm . . . I got an email from Laura that said she had no place to live. And that made me sad. Until a very short time later when I read the follow-up email that said she had several offers of places to live. That made me happy. Yay Laura!

All right. That's it.
