A long weekend's over, which is always sad. Back to work on a dreary day. But the holiday was lovely. Left the office at 3 on Wednesday, and didn't even think about work for the whole time I was gone. That's ideal.
The list of things that I actually did in that time is pretty short. Thursday was Thanksgiving, of course, which is a day that I love. It was our smallest Thanksgiving yet, with only 6 people. Sharif and I each went to our own parents' house, so he wasn't there. And Scott and TJ were in other states. But we had a good time, and a ridiculous amount of food. 13 serving dishes on the dinner table, plus 3 pies for dessert. Our feasting made a dent, but not much more.
Saturday night, ilyAIMY had a show in Gaithersburg. Sunday evening, Sharif and I went to my parents' house for a lovely dinner and a viewing of Battlestar Galactica: Razor, which Dad so kindly Tivo-ed for us. And now you know almost everything that I did in my four days off.
Well, aside from playing Mass Effect. That was actually most of my weekend.
