I will say three things for this morning's cold rain:
1. It does mean that I do not currently wish that I was out hiking instead of working.
2. The greyness outside the windows and the quiet of an office at which few people have yet arrived add together to make the lights above my desk seem almost cozy.
3. The heat has come on in the building, meaning that I am comfortably warm in my office for maybe the third time ever.
That said, I would still rather be at home in my pajamas watching The Philadelphia Story.
