I woke up the next morning feeling mildly hung over. A shower, some breakfast, and some coffee didn't really help. In fact, a full day of lunch at my parents' house, relaxing on the couch, doing my taxes, a hike in Patapsco State Park, dinner at my parents' house, and a movie didn't really help. So I decided that probably I was actually kinda sick.
I managed to enjoy my weekend despite the onset of the annoying faux hangover. It was relaxed. Sunday even more so than Saturday, as I spend almost the entire day in my own house, playing Oblivion. I ventured as far as Sharif's place in the evening, to watch Planet Earth on the big HD tv. Among the things learned: Desert foxes are adorable, and sometimes it's possible to see penguin droppings from an airplane. (No, not penguins dropping from an airplane. The "s" placement is crucial.)
At the moment I'm just concentrating on getting to lunchtime, when I can go outside. I'm rereading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and I think that will go nicely with a Subway sandwich and my favorite bench.
