I really shouldn't stay up until 2am on Sunday night/Monday morning. It's a really good way to make Monday at work less pleasant than normal. But I had a good reason! At least according to my priorities. I was watching Planet Earth on Discovery HD until 11:00, so I couldn't see the first showing of Battlestar Galactica and had to stay up for the Midnight one. It was the season finale. It was important.
But today . . . yawn. I could comfort myself with the knowledge that I won't have to stay up late for Battlestar until next year, except that's less comforting and more frustrating. Ah well.
The weekend was good. Yesterday, especially, was beautiful. And I bought some things I really needed, as well as a pair of shoes that I really didn't need. (Except that they are super cute and only cost $7, so whatever. I needed them.) And Erica and I walked around the lake and saw dogs everywhere.
Working backwards, Saturday meant the celebration of Dave's birthday with Indian food. Most excellent. Earlier that day Sharif and I ran some errands after eating massive amounts of biscuits and gravy at Bob Evan's.
Friday night we played Worms for a while after watching The Sting, a movie that I've seen a few times now, but always find engrossing.
A sudden time jolt, and we're back to today, in which I've spent most of my time at work playing around on the internet and making April-showers-themed decorations for the bulletin board. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually get something productive done.
