not that anyone should come to me for fashion advice

I have issues with those men's dress shirts that are blue (or perhaps blue-striped) everywhere except for a completely white collar. It looks silly to me. Can the shirt not commit to being blue? Did the person making the shirt get distracted at the last minute and sew on the wrong collar? Did someone take the terms "blue-collar" and "white-collar" rather too seriously, and thus decide that shirts with blue collars are inapropriate for the office?
I just don't know.
But perhaps you have one of these shirts. Perhaps you are wearing it right now. If so, please-accept-my-humble-apologies-you-know-i-was-just-joking-right-you-totally-look-great-today.
Ha! My boss just came in and showed me a picture that her 5-year-old son drew. When she asked him to explain it, he said that it is "a monkey trapped in ice because he likes it". Adorable!

I think those the blue shirt white collar shirts look ridiculous. I love crazy shirts that look good. Those are not crazy enough and are not attractive. I will make no apologies. If you are wearing one of those shirts today, comment readers, take it off! Well, okay, maybe keep it on until you get home. But as much as I love you, if, you know, I know and love you, which is quite possible, I do not love your shirt. You're no less handsome because of it, but, well. I feel about those shirts like I feel about El Caminos and other truckcars.
I have many blue shirts. But the collars match.
I have similar feelings about french cuffs. Shirts that require cuff links should be reserved for tuxedos.
