Turns out, Carla's sister broke her
It was great. I left the office a little early, so that we could join my parents at dinner before the show. While we were eating our very good food at the very nice Irish restaurant across from the theatre, people kept coming by with Bailey's merchandise, in honor of St. Patrick's Day the next day. So we got free shots of Bailey's (with a hint of caramel), flashy buttons, and t-shirts. Especially impressive was that they had girly-cut shirts in addition to the standard XL men's version.
The show was super fun, of course. I was really sad that I missed my chance to buy tickets when they were available, so I was extremely excited to get this last-minute opportunity. I was mildly irritated by the people who audibly anticipated the punchlines- yes, we know you know how this bit goes. We all do.- but it wasn't constant, and it wasn't really enough to detract from the experience. The show was, as expected, extremely silly. I highly recommend it to people who enjoy things that are funny.
The rest of the weekend was also good- featuring two very nice breakfasts, an Erica-made lamb dish, plenty of beer and not nearly enough sleep.
