Open mic last night, on the other hand, was great fun. A smorgasbord of good music and fun people. And pumpkin ale on tap. I like the nights when I feel like I know practically everyone in the place. And of the people I didn't know, one of them had a washtub bass. Or, as I like to call it, a stickbucket bass. This was tremendously awesome. As was his banjoing partner. And, well, everyone that I already knew. It seems Keegan is going to be recording an album soon, which shall be good for my state of mind when I get "Fairy Jenny" stuck in my head (this is not infrequent). And apparently I'm on hugging terms with Daniel Lee? Ok.
This weekend promises to be tremendously busy, so I hope I don't get sick. I intend to attend two ilyAIMY shows, spraypaint my hair blue, and celebrate two different events at two different times on the same day. It will go quickly, and I intend to enjoy myself. Shouldn't be hard.
In other news Neil Gaiman directs us here. As with many things, he is absolutely right to do so.
