i was a flight attendent

The coffee here today is dreadful. Seriously, I tried two different machines. The first gave me a pale brown hot water. The second gave me something that looked and smelled like coffee, but tasted like nothing good. Very sad.

Also, it's dreary and wet outside today. And I'm still not fully recovered from whatever horrible pain it was that gripped my upper back, shoulders, and neck on Saturday night. I'm feeling significantly less awful now, but it's not wholly gone. If only Laura was finished her training! And also in Maryland! Then I'd know who to call.

Other than the pain, however, I had a nice weekend. Quiet Friday night- Sharif came over when he finished tutoring, and pretty much immediately fell asleep on my bed. So I sat around and did internet things, read a book, straightened up my room. Not bad. Saturday we took the puppy for a walk around Centennial Lake. We went to Panera for dinner, and we watched a few episodes of 24. Sunday we woke up early to meet Erica, had some (good) coffee and doughnuts, then the three of us headed down to the Renaissance Festival. It was a good day for it, not over crowded, and we had a swell time. I bought nothing but food. Good me.

It was hard to get out of bed this morning, but I suppose that I say that almost every morning.
