But! The hot UPS guy is filling in today. We've missed him since he switched routes.
OK, so I wouldn't call that a fair trade, exactly. But it's nice to have something to smile about, even if it does lead to a ridiculous clump of giggling women.
The weather outside looks lovely. I would love to be in it, and I suppose I will be eventually. At the moment, though, I have at least six more hours in my over-air-conditioned office to get through. It's going to be a long day. Hooray for Friday. And for having my Father's Day gifts already purchased. And for the prospect of spending my lunch break outdoors.
My phone was beeping again early this morning, and it worked its way into my dreaming. In my dream, I received a Video Message on my phone from Jacki. (This was a new feature that I didn't realize I had.) She had filmed a mini-travelogue on her own phone and sent it to me. She was in a bar in Costa Rica, and they had free margaritas. She spoke in a fake Robin Leach-type accent, and was pleased about the Michelob on tap and the James Matthews Band on the radio.
I don't know.
