Wow, I just had about the most stressful first-hour-and-a-half at work that I've ever experienced. It comes of trying to do my current job while trying also to do my new one, without the benefit of contact to a person who actually knows how to do that job. Plus about seven thousand people got lost this morning while trying to find the building next door to me, and they all called ME on their cellphones, asking me how to extricate themselves from the uncharted wilds of Columbia.
Hopefully the urgent stressy part of the day is over. I'll surely be busy, but maybe I can get through it without further explosions.
Last night was nice, though. psychephage made stir fry, and then we watched Serenity with director's commentary. And then we were both mind-numbingly exhausted, so I went home to bed. Where I wish I could have stayed for a few more hours. Alas.
