Dave and Kerry are married now! Bride and Groom looked smashing in their finery, and seemed very happy in the brief time I got to speak to them. The service was lovely, the reception was good fun, and it was grand to be able to spend an evening with some folks that I hadn't seen in a very long time. My boy looked pretty snazzy, and I am quite pleased with my new dress (seen here in its entirety in a silly photo, and here with the shrug that I wore over it the whole time). Our table at the reception (Table 4: First Dates) was all UMBC folks (with the exception of Sharif- three of us brought dates, but he was the only one that didn't go to the same school as the rest). It was a good time.
Sunday, Erica and I spent some time at the Renaissance Festival, mostly eating, wandering, and running into random unexpected people. I spent the evening with Sharif- going out for dinner, then watching TV. (A History Channel program about a Nazi expedition to Tibet, then Iron Chef: America.) Today is work. Fun fun.
