Well, after nine months sitting at this desk, I've finally solved my keyboard/mousepad-angle problem that has been bothering me since the beginning. I fixed it by the totally unexpected means of reading the directions printed on the tray, and adjusting the angle with the appropriate knob. Genius!
I had a wonderful birthday, possibly one of the best Mondays ever. Flowers and cookies and balloons and other presents, unexpected visits and phone calls from old friends, excellent restaurant food for two meals, good company in the form of family and boys, hugs and good wishes. Thank you to all who participated or wished me well. I hope the rest of 26 is as good as the start.
I'll be at Perk tonight for open mic- no rehearsal today, so I'll be there from the start. And since Sharif will be elsewhere, I shall have to take over the role of compulsive picture-snapper, as I'm now officially the owner of my dad's "old" digital camera. It's a mighty fine piece of equipment still- my father simply wanted to get a new one with which he could use all of his lenses. Works out well for me.
