Speaking of New Zealand, it was a strange sort of Kiwi TV weekend for me. In that flipping through the channels one night, I randomly came across a giant haka on public television. Then yesterday, Whale Rider was on. I don't know if it means anything, or if it's just that I take more notice of these sorts of things because of my recent history. Actually, that's not true, because I'm sure it's the latter. I wouldn't be particularly aware of encountering several references over a few days to France, for example, or Bosnia. But because I spent so much time in New Zealand, those things stand out.
This was also a weekend of boy out of town, dinners with parents, The Tim's birthday and party, Phase 10, 1000 Blank White Cards, cleaning the utility room, Stewie's Mind Erasing Elixir, and sweet cuppincakes. Not in that order.
I have borrowed Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo from my parents, because someone hasn't seen them yet. This will soon be remedied.
