I had a lovely weekend. Friday, after a whole day of miserable rain-ness, I left work thinking that all I wanted was to sit at home and eat pizza and watch DVDs. A few phonecalls followed, and the resulting evening was just right.
Saturday, the sister and I met Jacki for lunch. We saw her beautiful house, some darling kitty cats and a basset hound, ate some fantastic food (Hummus platter appetizer YUM. Spanikopita SUPERYUM.), did a little bit of interesting shop-browsing, had a lovely time. We lazed around my place for the afternoon, and ventured up to Fells Point with
Yesterday was low-key. I cleaned in the morning, walked the Trolley Trail after lunch. Spent a couple hours at the parents' house, hanging with my Daddy, since Mom is out of town. We ate chips and salsa and watched golf. Quality time. Later I did some shopping, desperately overdue, then spent the rest of the evening at home. Finished up my CDs for Erica's project. Watched the entirety of the Tonys. I really want to see The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Also Spamalot, although that's a given. A quiet day, but a very good one.
Today is, I understand, unbearably hot. Awesome.
No, I mean it. I'd rather be uncomfortably warm than uncomfortably cold any day of the week, and twice on Mondays. Welcome, summer!
