Today I devote myself to entering phone numbers into a company-wide online database. This, no matter how glamourous it might sound, is in fact incredibly dull and likely to induce a headache by the end of the day. Also, the phone is ringing rather more frequently than usual. Sigh.

Well, tomorrow is Friday, and that's usually a good thing. Is anything fun happening? I like fun.

Yesterday I went and looked at the house that afterknowledge's friend Lacey just bought. It's in Catonsville, a stone's throw from the house where I lived for the first 14 years of my life, and therefore a mere hop and skip (not even a jump) from many many memories of my childhood. We're talking pretty familiar territory here. And the house is sweet and cozy and it looks like Lacey is going to have a lot of fun decorating. She's moving in this weekend, and I'm looking forward to seeing the place with furniture in. She showed me the basement, which she's planning to rent out. It's a nice space, just bedroom sized, but a fairly spacious one, I think (but I'm horrible at judging things like distance and relative size)- with its own bathroom on the other side of the utility room. The walls are warm wood panelling and the ceilings are rather low, but not oppressively so. There are three closets. She obviously means to share the kitchen, as well as the dining room and living room on the first floor. The basement bathroom has a shower, but she doesn't mind allowing use of the tub upstairs. And the rent that she's asking is quite reasonable, especially when you consider that it's inclusive (with both cable and DSL).

I may be moving in a few weeks. Exciting.

ETA:Oh, and I forgot to add that Rohini has posted pictures of the puppets we made on Tuesday. I think that they are super.

You'll be living in my hometown! :) And the hometown of my father-in-law, but that was already a spooky coincidence when I met J.
