Yesterday was a work day of Nothing To Do. I was given not even one tiny chore to complete through the whole day, so my only task was answering the phone. Otherwise I sat here refreshing my friends page and reading things on McSweeney's. In the evening I went to Perk, as it was Tuesday, and I had a good time and ended up staying later than I probably ought. But there was a good combination of music and people and games and refreshing beverages, so I regret nothing (except the illness and therefore absence of Rohini. Over which I had no control, so you couldn't really call it regret, anyway.) I got to confuse/impress a few more people with my 11- 12- and 13-spot playing cards, which is always amusing. And it was discovered that the board game "Fun City" really doesn't look like very much fun.
Somehow or other, I managed to pay my New York & Company credit card bill twice last month. This means that I now have a significant balance and need to go shopping. I have a coupon that is good only through today, and I was thinking about going to the mall tonight, but I just don't think I'm going to be up for that. Poor Joanna, can't muster up the energy to take advantage of money she's already spent.
The first season of Scrubs is going to be released on DVD in May! I'm all up in that action.
(While loading Amazon.com to find that link, I encountered the preview for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which I then proceeded to watch without sound. Stupid no-speakers work computer.)
