He could turn gravity into gravy!

I did it again. I left Perk last night without closing my tab, therefore leaving behind my credit card. I fail.

This morning was one of those "oh lord, please don't make me get out of my lovely lovely bed" mornings. I don't know why this should be so, as I slept soundly, was not up particularly late last night, and had the sound of rain on my windows to soothe me to sleep. Whatever the reason, though, I waited until the last possible moment to start getting ready for work. I'm feeling far more alert now, of course, but it hasn't totally taken away the urge to change into my pajamas and climb under the covers directly upon arriving home this afternoon. Somehow, though, I don't think that this would be a very good idea.

A girl here in the office tells me that they are going to be putting a Cheesecake Factory in the Columbia Mall, and tearing up parking to do so. I don't know how much truth there is to this . . . OK, here's an article. Egad. Funny I haven't heard about this before. Should make Christmas shopping even more fun. And by "shopping", I mean "parking", and by "fun", I mean "tortuous".
