mad cat

news flash!

Hey! It's snowing! I have a giant window directly behind me! And yet people who walk through the lobby frequently inform me of the weather conditions!

Mainly I laugh at them.

So far it has been an extremely sarcastic day for me. I need to make sure that I'm good and only act that way with people I am sure can take it.

But I now have the exciting ability to order office supplies on-line. My first act as holder of this power was to order lightbulbs and staples and napkins. It was really far more exciting than it ought to have been.

Primroses! PRIMROSES!

Everyone thinks that my primroses are African Violets. I suppose it doesn't really bother me, but I don't understand why the misconception is so common.

No fuzzy leaves.

Some of them are yellow.

It's not like they must come up with a proper name for the things before they reference them. It's very simple to refer to them as "flowers". But instead, people walk by and say "Oh, your African Violets look so nice!" or lean on my desk and say "Can I move the African Violets out of the way for a minute?"

I think I'm testy because I haven't had lunch yet. Pizza was ordered ages ago, but it hasn't arrived.

Food, please.
