I need to get a real yoga mat at some point this week. I have been using a beach towel, because the instructor said that would be fine, but yesterday we were in the warrior pose and my front foot kept slipping forward. This is not good- firstly because I could hurt myself, but also because the idea of the pose is stability. If I'm in constant danger of accidentally doing a split, or if I'm frequently losing concentration in order to adjust my footing, I am not stable.
I'm hungry. I'd better go to lunch soon, because I don't think it would be a good idea to finish off that Rolo in my purse all at once.
