OK, no. It was totally white. Like there was no blood in it at all. So, in a sense of "well isn't that odd", I pointed it out to my parents. After exclaiming about it for awhile, and asking questions like "were you wearing a tight ring today?" (no), "did you slam a door on it?" (no), and "are you sure you weren't wearing a ring?" (yes), they proclaimed it officially "weird" and told me to call the doctor if it was still like that in the morning. A few minutes later, we all watched the visible progress of the color returning to the finger, until it was completely back to normal.
I don't know why it happened, but I'd sure like to know, so I can avoid it in future. I wouldn't like to think that my circulatory system just occasionally shuts down bits of my body. I'm pretty sure I need all my fingers.
