The snow has started. From my fifth-floor perspective, I can see that it's already started sticking to the roads and the cars, which means that I'm going to have to clean off my car before I go home for lunch. And I do have to go home, because I brought neither food nor money to work with me.
Weather.com is calling for about an inch total, so it's not that big a deal, but everyone is now snowmad. It's always funny the way that works out. Some people are thrilled, others are complaining already about shoveling and traffic. Me, I fall into the group of people that loves snow . . . conditionally. If I don't need to leave my house, if I can stay home and drink tea and read or watch movies or bake, if I don't have to drive in the stuff, I love it. Alas, that rarely happens.
