My last dream before waking up was about getting ready for bed at around 11:30pm. The one before that was of being chased by someone who wanted to kill me. Not terribly restful dreams, I'd say, so I'm rather surprised by how alert I'm currently feeling. Don't worry, a few more hours, and I'll be dragging right along.
Christmas was fantastic, with good food (lots of it!), good family, good friends, and good gifts. Great gifts! Erica gave me Neil Gaiman's 1602, which you know thrilled me. As a family, we received The Return of the King: Extended Edition and PirateS of the Caribbean with the extra disk. I got America: The Book! and Rufus Wainwright's Want Two! and a Barnes & Noble gift card! and The Sims 2! and! and! my parents gave me an iPod!
My computer, however, was in the hands of the Geek Squad at Best Buy from Christmas Eve morning until last night, so I've had very little time to play with the electronic gifts. I'll be making up for that nearly every evening this week, I'm sure. Especially since my computer now works, which is extremely exciting.
I hope that everyone had a lovely weekend, whether or not you were celebrating. Back to work now.
