Hey. I'm in the same city as the Sydney Opera House.
OK, so obviously I knew that already. And I did set out this morning with a primary goal of walking to said Opera House. But even so, when I approached Circular Quay this morning and got my first sight of the building, I was surprised. Basically, it was a feeling of "Hey, I've seen that place before . . . but this time it's for real!" Extremely cool feeling. One I've never really had for, say, the White House. Or the Washington Monument. What with growing up practically next to them, and all.
Sunday and Monday I will be spending in the Blue Mountains. On the 2-day version of this trip. Should be most excellent. Many many people have told me that I have to go there, so I'm quite looking forward to it.
Today was sleeveless-top warm. I like this place.
