1. wake up.
This I did, although in stages. It took me for-freakin'-ever to convince myself that it was time to get out of bed. I was just so comfortable.
1a. have a cup of tea and read a couple chapters of my book.
This was not an original part of the plan, but was added in order to put off moving to step 2.
2. organize and pack all of my belongings.
Done. This is never fun. I had to do this because I'm moving house tomorrow. We were given less than four days' notice that our landlords had decided to move out of the flat, and for the first couple of those days we didn't know if we were going to have somewhere to go. But the landlords ended up purchasing the house they were considering, and there is space there for us to live for a few weeks- for considerably less rent, the only good part of this, as far as I can tell. I'd go live somewhere completely different if I wasn't too lazy to be bothered working it out. Besides, it is just for a few more weeks, part of which they'll be out of the country.
3. check email and update journal.
4. make rice and eat rice.
Lunch. Self explanatory.
5. take a walk.
It's been raining for the past few days, so I've been spending my time sitting on the couch. I've had some fun doing perspective exercises in my sketchbook, but I need to do something active. It's clear and relatively warm today, so I think I'll go walk along the beach.
6. go to the New World.
This is the grocery store. I will be buying some snacks suitable for eating in the car.
7. take a shower.
Must be clean.
8. go to Nelson to see Troy.
I bought the tickets yesterday, so Kathleen and Eva and I have assigned seats and everything. We'll have to leave as soon as the others get off work, which is why the snack food. I'm looking forward to it. Hooray for a girls' night out, with pretty boys in skirts.
Yup. That's the plan.
