Sunday was the long day. I woke up at 6:45am, was in my uniform at 7:30am, worked all day, and didn't get home until well after midnight. (And if anyone one says, "And what time did Midnight get home?", I'll sock you.) I flew three flights, each with pretty good passenger loads- the last one was practically full. It was on the last flight that we had as passengers these three guys traveling together- one originally from Iran, one originally from Lebanon, and one originally from Kuwait. Security at the airport in Cancun felt the need to notify us in advance that they were going to be on board, in case we decided not to allow them on, because they wouldn't take the batteries out of their palm pilots. This is despite the fact that they all had U.S. passports, one was a doctor, one was some kind of high-paid computer consulting guy, and they'd all flown with us to get down to Cancun in the first place. As it turned out, they were some of the nicest people on the flight. I felt bad about all the crap that they had to put up with before getting on the plane, even though I had nothing to do with it. Yes, I know, security is key . . . and it is especially important to be alert now . . . but it still isn't fair the way these things are handled sometimes.
OK. I'm done with that now. I was anti-social and rather zombie-like today, so there's really nothing interesting to say about that. I'M GOING TO SEE HARRY POTTER ON FRIDAY!!! And that's very cool. I have some Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby ice cream in the freezer. And that's just plain cold.
