Ah, weekend, weekend, why you got to go?
My weekend has been asymmetrical. Meaning: Saturday was busybusy, whereas Sunday was . . . not.
Yesterday I went shopping for a housewarming present for Jake (I decided on some Pilsner glasses), tried on and failed to buy dresses at the mall, and went to lunch at Don Pablo's with Erica. Upon returning home, after Erica washed her hair, I put seven hundred thousand (well, at least 12) little braids in her hair (messy little pseudo-cornrows to allow her to wear a wig over her voluminous tresses) while we watched most of my new DVD of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (which I, of course, had gone to buy the night before, like a good little fan). After the braiding, I had to rush my own shower in order to get dressed and out of the house to get to Jake's new used house in Annapolis.
Housewarming party. Knew no one there who was not Jake or Denise or a relative thereof. But I still had a good time. The house is really nice, although in need of decoration representative of the owner. It's always lovely to see my friends of course, and it was fun being introduced to new people as the person who introduced the affianced couple. Not that I can take credit for their relationship- it just happens that I knew both of them before they knew each other. Heck, it's still cool. Go me! Got home late and went to bed pretty much immediately.
Today was quiet. Mainly sitting around the house. I did spend far more time playing The Sims than I had in awhile. I'm a little worried about Hermione, because every time she visits Ron at his little red and orange house, she is very depressed and requires cheering up and refuses to play chess. This is even though they have full relationship points on both the short-term and long-term scales. Also, when Ron was downtown buying a magazine, I saw Lavender B. Gryffingirl eating lunch with Draco Malfoy! What's going on?!?
But enough about that. I'm going to go get my clothes out of the dryer, because I like having pants to wear to work. I know you're excited for me . . .
Or not. That's OK too.
