The last three days at work have consisted mainly of the following process:
1)open box of clipboards with company logo
2)open box of cooler-type lunchbags with company logo
3)remove clipboard from plastic bag, set aside bag
4)remove lunchbag from plastic bag, set aside bag
5)clip handle of the latter to the former
6)cut length of ribbon, wrap ribbon decoratively around clipboard and bag
7)tie ribbon and curl ends
8)set aside completed item and return to step 3, repeat 149 more times
And every. single. person. who walks by has to stop and ask what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, and can they have one?
NO! SHUT UP! THEY ARE NOT MINE! IF THEY WERE HERE TO BE GIVEN TO RANDOM PEOPLE, I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PUT RIBBONS ON THEM! GO AWAY!
Sorry. I get frustrated sometimes. I have a real desire to run away and do nothing for awhile. Well, a more interesting nothing than the nothing with which most of my time is currently occupied. Preferably with friends.
I've got to get myself to Arizona.
On the positive side, my finger doesn't hurt anymore.
