Sharif bought the HDDVD player add-on for his XBox 360 on Friday. (I'm pretty sure it's the most affordable HDDVD player out there, at $180. Obviously, though, that only works if you've already bought the 360.) He got a bunch of free DVDs with this purchase, including the entire first season of Heroes, which would normally retail on its own for $100. Neither of us had ever watched that show before this weekend. Now, we've seen 9 episodes. Considering that we also slept, ate out more than once, attended Spooky Brunch in costumes that required preparation time, assisted in the mom-and-aunts-retrieval mission, and went to see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D . . . I'd say that's pretty impressive.
Aw, I miss the couch.
