Woohoo! Someone has posted a Girl Scout cookie order form in the kitchen. I want me some Samoas. And some Thin Mints. And Tagalongs. Damn, this is a pricey racket. Pricey, yet tasty. Girl Scout cookies will be my downfall. As kryptonite to Superman, so is a Girl Scout cookie order form to my wallet.

Or something like that.

I have a psychological problem with Girl Scout cookies, which is this: I really only think the Samoas are awesome, although Thin Mints and to a lesser extent Tagalongs are fine. But the Samoas are like nine to a box! Okay maybe it's not quite that absurd but you see my point. They would be more than worth the money if there were as many of them as there were of anything else, but there's just NOT ENOUGH and so it's barely worth buying them in the first place.

I understand completely. I do love the Thin Mints and the Tagalongs, but the Samoas are absolutely the best. And it's frustrating that there are so few in a box. But if I don't buy them, then I don't get any at all. And that's unacceptable.

I have been marvelling at the GSA's gall since I first opened a box of thin mints and a box of samoas - clearly, they're all produced on an assembly line, but the price per cookie of samoas and tagalongs (my two favorites) is about 2-3 times as much as any other cookie. it's absolutely ridiculous, and someone should do something about it!
