Ahhhh. I needed that.

I did three things this weekend, basically. Friday night was dinner and the theatre- meaning Red Hot & Blue for a pulled pork sandwich and the Laurel Mill Playhouse for a night of One Act Plays. It was the debut of the sister's latest (directed by the college roommate), which was fabulous. Good job to them, and to all others involved in the evening.

Saturday morning, Sharif and I took Ben to his eye surgery. We dropped him off, then spent a couple of hours at the mall, then picked him up when he was done. Now he has Laser Eyes! (It really is very awesome that he can see perfectly now. But his description of the process, even though it ultimately takes only a few minutes, fills me with horror. I'm not sure I could bring myself to go through that, even with the amazing results.)

And that is the end of the movement for the weekend. The rest of Saturday and all of Sunday were spent on the couch. (Well, two couches. We migrated between my house and Sharif's house a couple of times, depending on the activities of the roommates.) I got the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix game for my Wii, so that accounts for much of that time. The rest was mostly a different game, or Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet. We ordered pizzas that we used for two meals, thus avoiding cooking. And I barely even checked my email, as the computer is not near the couch. (Although this does mean that I missed wishing Ann a happy birthday at the right time. Sorry Ann! Happy late!)

It was seriously the laziest weekend in I-have-no-idea-how-long. I loved it.

Pulled pork from Red, Hot & Blue is what I served at my wedding. Pulled chicken, too. It was great.
